Scope and Content
The Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs publications and printed ephemera consists of keepsakes, meeting announcements, menus, bibliographies,

the biannual joint meetings of the two Clubs.
Historical note
The Zamorano Club is Southern California's oldest organization of bibliophiles and manuscript collectors. Founded in 1928,
it sponsors lectures and publications on bookish topics. The Club was named in honor of Agustín V. Zamorano (1798-1842), a
provisional governor of Alta California and the state's first printer.
The Roxburghe Club was founded on April 3, 1928 in San Francisco and named in honor of the original Roxburghe Club of England,
a renowned bibliophilic society named after the Duke of Roxburghe. The purpose of the club is to further the love of fine
printing and books in general.
Since their respective foundings, the Zamorano and Roxburghe Clubs have sponsored the printing of announcements, keepsakes,
and letterpress items by their members, to be distributed amongst the memberships as souvenirs and gifts.
Arrangement
The Keepsakes are arranged first, by year of presentation (which is generally also the year of publication), and second, alphabetically
by title. The other publications and ephemera are arranged by date.
