Environmental Data includes terrain profiles from various reference positions, humidity, temperature, wind, salt spray, and soil tests. Plant Cover Data was collected between July 8. 1970 and Sept. 12, 1970 from three main positions on the western dunes.

Scope and Contents note

This series contains 2 letters between Boyce and Dr. Emmett V. Martin, who co-authored several publications on plant adaptations with plant ecologist Frederic E. Clements. Boyce asked Martin to idenitify the location of the experimental dune and ridge gardens created by Martin and Clements at the Campbell Estate (Coal Oil Point).
