The Donfeld papers span the years 1939-1989 (bulk 1969-1989) and encompass 1.3 linear feet. The collection consists of scripts, wardrobe plots, and costume notes.
Background
Donald Lee Feld, known professionally as Donfeld, was an American costume designer. He was nominated four times for an Academy Award for costume design, for DAYS OF WINE AND ROSES (1962); THEY SHOOT HORSES, DON'T THEY? (1969); TOM SAWYER (1973); and PRIZZI'S HONOR (1985).
