1922-1923
Scope and Content
Most of the letters are from William (Bill) Webster to his parents, Nellie and John, while he was at the Urban Military Academy
in Los Angeles or at Camp Curry in Yosemite National Park. The letters discuss the activities he was involved in, the family's
health, and financial matters. In addition, there is a letter with two family photographs from Bernice and Wilfred Christlieb.
The couple appear to be the niece and nephew of John and Nellie Webster. Lastly, a letter from the Waterworks and Utility
Division of the county of Los Angeles to its new customers regarding the company's take over of Deer Path Mutual Water Company
of Malibu is included.

The picture says
Spes Mea In Deo Est which is a Masonic Motto that means
My Hope is in God.
