Colin Higgins was an American director and screenwriter born in New Caledonia to American and
Australian parents. His film career spanned a dozen years from 1971 to 1982.
Collection Scope and Content Summary
The production material collected by Colin Higgins spans 1942-1965 (bulk 1954-1957) and encompasses 3
linear feet. The collection consists of scripts and some production material, including assistant
director's reports and production and wardrobe photographs collected by Higgins for six MGM and four
Warner Bros. films. Most of the scripts belonged to the film's script supervisor and are heavily
annotated. The films are not associated with Higgins's own career.
