However, this is most likely a photograph of AMAZON (built 1902), a four-masted barkentine of 1167 tons, sister to AMARANTH. AMAZON (built 1902; barkentine, 4m) was burned at sea on the Fourth of July, 1925.

The ship Equator, which belonged to Robert Louis Stevenson, lies canted against a jetty near this western Washington city. The Equator spent her last days as a working boat. She was used to tow logs and garbage scows on Puget Sound. The Equator, with many other boats, helped to form a breakwater opposite a fancy yacht basin at the north of the Snohomish River."
