Scope and Content

Audio-cassette tapes of recordings of interviews with theater professionals in the Bay Area. Transcripts of interviews are in Series 1.

Consists of assorted theater programs from the 1910s through the 1980s.

Scope and Content

Three scripts: Marya by David McDonald; The White Rose and the Red by Fanny Bradshaw; and The Bomb that Fell on America by Hermann Hagedorn. One oversize folder of publicity newspapers and poster for Greta Garbo's and John Gilbert's 1927 film Love.
 

Series 6:  Theatrical stills and headshots approximately 1900-1980

This series consists mostly of print copies of photographs from unidentified owners and repositories.

Two scrapbooks of theatre clippings and programs (identified as originally kept by Rose C. Stotz). Documents mostly San Francisco theater.

Assorted bookplates; files of bookplates designed by William Fowler Hopson, Charles William Sherborn, George W. Eve, William Phillips Barrett, Mary Caroline Lawson, Edwin Davis French, Arthur Wellington Clark, the Dyke Mill Press, William Edgar Fisher, George Wolfe Plank, Anne Blakesley Hooper, Beaulah Mitchell Clute, Ernest J. Cross, Albertine Randall Wheelan, Olive Percival, Gordon Craig, Arthur N. MacDonald, Frederick Spenceley, Joseph Winifred Spenceley, Edmund H. Garrett, Frances Tolles Chamberlain, Alfred Jerome Brown, J.H. Fincker, and Henry C. Eno.
