The Johnny Guitar Society collection compiled by Malcolm Watt spans the years 1953-2000 and encompasses 3.3 linear feet. The collection includes photocopies of scripts, as well as books, clippings, production material, disc recordings, and photographs related to the film.

The Johnny Guitar Society was formed to promote appreciation of the film through research, preservation, and at one time a website. JOHNNY GUITAR is an American feature film directed by Nicholas Ray and produced and released by Republic Pictures in 1954. The Western, starring Joan Crawford, was partially filmed in Sedona, Arizona. Malcom Watt is a film aficionado residing in San Diego, California.
