Description
The Puck Cartoons Collection consists of full color cartoons published in Puck magazine, which was a weekly humor magazine published from 1871 until 1918. Items in the collection have been removed or reprinted from issues of the magazine, and include centerfold, cover, and back page illustrations.
Background
Puck was a weekly humor magazine first published in 1871 by Joseph Keppler. Issues of Puck were known for their color illustrations and political cartoons.
