Description
This collection contains correspondence and documents pertaining to 1stLt. Angelus T. Burch, AEF during the First World War.
Background
First Lieutenant Angelus Teague Burch, American Expeditionary Force (11/12/1895 - 11/18/1967) was born to Rousseau and Clara Burch in Salina, Kansas. Burch served during the First World War in a Field Artillery hospital. He was wounded on the 11th of November 1918 and remained in the hospital until his recovery and return to the United States. 1LT Burch was married to Marrie Burch and they had two children, both sons. Burch died at the age of 72 and was buried in Salinas, California.
