Three organizations in the community reflected South Gate's concern with these issues: the Democratic State Central Committee, End Poverty League, Inc., and the Epic Club of South Gate.

    Scope and Contents

    The Asher Vogler Collection consists of bulletins, certificates, charter, correspondence, newspaper clippings, reports, and oversized material related to the community of South Gate. The three organizations primarily represented are: the Democratic State Central Committee, the End Poverty League, Inc., and the Epic Club of South Gate. The fourteen file folders that make up the Asher Vogler Collection are arranged alphabetically. Oversized items are located in flat files.
