Series 1 Livermore Action Group files 1982-1985

Administrative History

The Livermore Action Group files were collected simultaneously by George Franklin Hawkins, Patrick Diehl, and Victoria Woodard between 1982-1985. There is some content and subject overlap in each sub-series.

Sub-series 1.1 George Franklin Hawkins' Livermore Action Group files

Biographical

George Franklin Hawkins was a staff member and organizer of the Livermore Action Group. He retained possession of the LAG files, until he donated them to the library. He used them to research his book Direct Action, which he wrote under the name Luke Hauser. This sub-series is assumed to be George Franklin Hawkins' Livermore Action Group files, since his name (as George Franklin) appears frequently in the records. Hawkins was also known by the names Michael G. Hawkins, George M. Hawkins, and Michael W. Hawkins.
