The Argo (built 1898; steam schooner) photograph, 1906 July 6-16, (SAFR 24423, P14-003) is comprised of a photograph of ARGO
ashore near the mouth of the Eel River, California. The collection has been processed to the collection level and is open
for use.
Contains a black-and-white photographic print (5 x 6.75 in.) of ARGO (built 1898; steam schooner) ashore, view off the starboard
bow, near the mouth of Eel River, California, 1906 July 6-16. The anchor is dropped on the beach and a ladder is leaning against
the vessel. A man is standing alongside the vessel near the ladder and anchor. Another man is leaning over the edge of the
vessel, looking at the man below. ARGO went ashore on July 6, 1906, and was refloated on July 16.
