Description
This collection contains correspondence written by Sgt. George V. Tudor, USMCR during the Second World War. The collection also contains postmortem correspondence and other papers.
Background
Sergeant George Tudor, United States Marine Corps Reserves (11/15/1915 - 7/22/1944) was born in 1915 in Chicago, Illinois. He was killed in action while serving with Company C, 1st Battalion, 22nd Marines, 1st Provisional Marine Brigade in Guam, Marianas Islands on July 22, 1944.
