Scope and Content
Record Series 63 contains the event files of UCLA's Public Programming Office. Files document such events as Charter Day,
commencement, the inauguration of President Charles Hitch, Golden Year Anniversary Week, faculty research lectures, Open House,
Golden Year Gala, John Wooden Seventieth Birthday Celebration, Jackie Robinson Baseball Stadium Dedication, John Wooden Center
Campaign and Dedication, football season pregame parties, President Gardner inauguration, and UCLA Medical Plaza Celebration,
as well as other dedications, receptions, dinners, and meetings. Additionally, files include committee documentation, budget
materials, and UCLA Medal documentation. Materials include proposals, photos, brochures, ledgers, notes, guest lists, cue
books, schedules, and other organizational documents.
