Abstract: Handwritten journals of an anonymous soldier in the British campaign in Flanders and Northern France after the French Revolution, from 1793-1795.

Administrative History:

Although the name of the solider who created these diaires is not known, it is surmised that he was an officer with the British Army in the war against France. The diaries are his private journals, containing an eye-witness account of the battles and military maneuvers in which he partcipated in between 1793-1795. The diaries do not appear to have been created in order to be shared with other people.
