Biographical Note

John H. Doolittle was from Derby, Connecticut. He was mustered 1st lieutenant in Company B and later promoted to captain of the Twentieth Connecticut Volunteer Infantry, Company B, on April 21, 1864. He was discharged on November 28, 1864.
