Biography

Arthur Hiller is a Canadian-born director and producer active in film since 1957. A life member of the Academy, he was nominated for an Academy Award for directing LOVE STORY (1970).

The Arthur Hiller papers span the years 1960s-1998 and encompass approximately 116 linear feet of papers, 108 artworks, and 10 posters. The material consists of production files, scripts, subject files, correspondence, costume design drawings, production design drawings, set plans, storyboards and title art associated with the following titles: AUTHOR! AUTHOR! (1982), THE BABE (1992), THE IN-LAWS (1979), THE LONELY GUY (1984), MAKING LOVE (1982), NIGHTWING (1979) and OUTRAGEOUS FORTUNE (1987).
