    This is a typed copy of the manuscript to Casas and Courtyards: Historic Adobe Houses of California by Helen S. Giffen; photographs by Guy J. Giffen. Materials include a chart of land grants in Santa Barbara County from 1861-1883. Original photographs for the publication are in the Photo Archives. The Libraries of the Autry have two copies of the published monograph.
