Biography/Administrative History

William Farnum (1876-1953) was a stage actor who became a silent screen film star. His filmography ranged from 1914 to 1938.

Manuscripts, photographs, clippings and ephemera relating to the life of William Farnum and his acting career. Series 1: Biographical Material and Ephemera; Series 2: Speeches and Manuscript Material; Series 3: Programs; Series 4: Correspondence. Collection also contains clippings, film stills and other photographs. Collection also covers his brother Dustin Farnum.
