The Allan Ulrich Collection of Performance Posters was bequeathed to the Stanford Archive
of Recorded Sound by the Estate of Allan Ulrich in 2019.
This collection is divided among four flat-file folders based on individual poster
dimensions.
Allan Ulrich Collection of Performance Posters, ARS-0240. Stanford Archive of Recorded

This collection contains opera, ballet, and other arts-related posters from the estate of
Allan Ulrich (1940-2019), a major classical music and ballet critic who worked for the San
Francisco Chronicle, San Francisco Examiner, and early in his career, the Sacramento
Bee.
A separate collection of opera and Broadway compact disc recordings from the Estate of
Allan Ulrich can be found at the Stanford Music Library. Consult the library's catalog for
individual items.
