Abstract:
A Native American man, apparently a brother of Catherine, the Nez Percé wife of trapper and Hudson's Bay Company factor Angus
MacDonald (McDonald), and therefore uncle of their daughter Christina MacDonald. He wears European style clothing, and is
seated on a chair outside a cabin of squared logs. Possibly photographed at the British survey team's winter quarters near
Fort Colville, or at the Hudson's Bay Company post.
