Title:
Black Thai family, Son La Province
Caption:
The Black Thai (named perhaps for the color of the women's bodices) are one of the 60 ethnic groups that make up Vietnam.
Although they number less than one million in Vietnam today, the Thai people were part of a massive movement of people that
migrated from China into Southeast Asia hundreds of years ago.
