The old adobe home of Don Malera [Molera?]. Built in 1836 at this cor. Alvarada [Alvarado] & [Munras?] Sts. The old Monterey Plaza was opposite this home. Back of the adobe fence was the old bull ring & pens. His grandson still lives in Monterey. Photo taken Feb. 23/29. This house was built by J.B.R. Cooper
