Spring, 1935, Hooverville, Kern County. On highway north of Bakersfield. Hand made camp stove, made by a stranded worker out
of sheet iron gathered from automobile bodies found in the city dump. Contains a grate, oven and door latch. Sold at $3.50.
Kept this man off relief.
