Title:
The oldest house in Hayes Valley. The lumber for this house came from New York City by way of Cape Horn in a sailing ship
and put together on a lot where the Palace Hotel now stands in 1854 and in 1870 it was moved to the east side of Octavia St.
bet. Oak & Fell Sts. or at 318 Octavia St. where it now stands. Photo taken May 15th 1929.
