with North Glassell Street in the foreground. The first parade vehicle has a sign reading "ORANGE CHAPTER / order of / DEMOLAY",
with young men riding on the running board and fender, another one stands in front of the car touching the radiator cap.
The next automobile carries the Orange Lionettes softball team players and has a sign in front reading "1947 So. Calif. Soft
Ball CHAMPIONS." Two additional convertibles and a group of bicyclists are visible in background. Crowds line the sidewalk
and along the Plaza Park edge. Businesses visible on North Glassell Street are H. S. Huff Jeweler (102 North Glassell), National
Barber Shop (104 North Glassell), Hazel's Beauty Salon (106 North Glassell), and above on the second floor "FURNISHED ROOMS"
are advertised.
