Portage, Wisconsin March 6, 1885 Dear uncle John, Many thanks for your kind wishes for us girls and for what you said
about books for New Year. We have not got the books yet. thinking us would prize them yet more highly if you selected them
for us your- self when you come this summer. We hope nothing will prevent your making this long talked of visit and that
you'll bring aunt Louie and Wanda. We are very fond of little folks here and I'm sure we should much enjoy little Wanda's
company. She will be about tyhe size that Celia was when you saw her last I think - and just?
