Air California planes at the Orange County Airport. A van is next to one of the airplanes. Beginning service on January 16, 1976, Air Cal was an important local link in county transportation. In June of 1979, the Orange County Airport was renamed John Wayne Airport in honor of the late actor John Wayne.
