Sept. 12,1913. R.U. Johnson Esq., 327 Lexington Ave., New York. Dear Johnson:- I am sending you with this P.O. Order
for the small bill for typewriting that I received yesterday. I saw Mr. Parsons today. Five thousand more of the last circular
will probably be printed and on hand early next week and 100 or more will be sent to you. In the mean time will try to get
up a new circular taking up the main objects noted in newspapers in favor of San Francisco. We realize that we have to strike
hard and very fast now until the close of the special session. You go ahead with the leaflet you spoke of; we are with you
in all that you may do, realizing that you are a host in yourself and we gratefully and admiringly appreciate all your works
and plans. Faithfully yours, Illegible BANCROFT LIBRARY
