San Francisco July 26. 1907. My dear Muir- When the proper time comes we? look into the matter very carefully. I know
nothing about it now except in a very general way. Undoubedly there will at some time or another, be several alternative schemes
of water supply submitted to the votes. As matters now stand I am only here till the first of the year, and nothing can be
done by that time. Faithfully yours Edward R. Taylor I have been trying to do something with See illegible Garfield
for Yosemite. 03894
