01364 Grand Hotel S.F. July 13, 1889. Dear Louie Your letter Gregory came together a few hours ago, (it is now 12
as you may by this time guess since a midnight letter is now a habit regular. Lost an hour with Gregory but sold the pears
Tokay some muscat. Tokay 50 per ton - Dentist grinding an hour or two loss of sleep exercise made me dull today, still have
made out to write 11 pages. Can always do something after start is made. Hope to get home about Tuesday or Wednesday Will
have enough Rainier material for an article for Century left over since as it turns out the Sound Region has taken up most
of the space allotted. Therefore will have to treat Rainier very lightly - a mere sketch in illegible Tell Wanda her letter
is charming I will answer it tomorrow. Tell Frank to see to the water in pasture in margin: Here is a littel more - look
