Cuba - Province of Havana - Batabano: A field of pineapples on a plantation devoted to the growing of this fruit in the Batabano
district on the south coast of Cuba. The plantation was about seven kilometers from Batabano on the coast which is due south
from Havana on the north coast. These pineapple are about two months from maturity and harvest and are the first growth -
the field not having been cut over before. These pineapples will be picked and others developing later will take the second
cutting.
