A very pleasant cool morning with an occasional shower in the evening started down travel and visited some lovely friends
also sent by mail an album as a present for Judith. Exciting rumor that the rebel invading force in the state of Pennsylvania
have received the Black Hay. Gen. Grant and Sheridan are in town, no news from home.
