Description:
Dittmer's Mission Pharmacy, Orange, California, ca. 1928. Image shows interior view with Mr. Bartling, saleman, standing
at the far right. Etta Mae Huffman Perry stands behind the soda fountain counter beside an unidentified teenage employee.
One woman customer is sitting in profile on a stool at the soda fountain. The owner, Adolph Dittmer Jr., is standing at the
back wearing a light-colored suit and the woman beside him may be his wife, Mabel. An unidentified pharmacist stands behind
Adolph. Bouquets of flowers are everywhere, suggesting a special occasion. The pharmacy had a black and white tile floor,
tiled soda fountain counter, decorated ceilings, and elegant dark wood walls. Photographer was Moseley, of Orange, California.
