Description:
DUBLIN SERVICE STATION, 1936. This roadside stand, pictured here in Dublin in the mid-1930s, a precursor to fast-food restaurants,
catered to needs of travelers either going to or from the Bay Area. While patrons filled their gas tank, or needed minor
repairs at the Dublin Service Station, a coffee shop conveniently situated next door offered people hot dogs, hamburgers,
sandwiches, or tobacco while they waited. The local townspeople affectionately referred to it as "The Greasy Spoon." Page
