My dear Loyer-of-Nature: I am a young person just out of college and I ambeginning the perilous journey of the magazine
writer. Amongthe ventures that I lam making--other than short stories thatmostly come back---is a series on The Playgrounds
ofAmerican Authors .The nucleus of this series began my third year in college at Boston two years ago..There I camein touch
with many veil known authors and as I grew to know them I begged a photograph of their playground. Some gave me a picture
of the playground itself and others a picture of themselves at play.Now that I am no longer protected by my alma materI still
'am continuing my Interest and enthusiam in theplayground question and I am approaching by way of letter theleading men and
women in America the leading authors... Will you be kind to me and tell me where you play andwill you tell me if the MOST
FAVORITE PLAYGROUND OF ALL a photograph of the most favorite playground of all Is available? With a deep appreciation of
