Home, Feb. 9, 1909. Darling Helen: The rain has been most lavish until yesterday when we had some hours of sunshine, how
precious charming it seemed. The H. H. battle in Congress is mostly in our favor so far, there is little danger of any legislation
against the valley this session at least. These clippings I think will charm you. Certainly Winning? is far better than common
