you the more unthinkably outrageous it appears. I can't yet venture to say how mad it makes me. But you dear friend have nothing
to regret. Though yet young you have done a great life work and have all the world with you ready for your own books now you
are free in the world of letters. I feel sure you will see that all's for the best though instead of heart thanks and a big
just pension they give far less than nothing
