Daggett, Cal. April 17, 1911. Dear Papa:- I was glad to get your letter saying you were soon going to start on your trip
as I know that it will be good for you and means you will have some rest. And I know you will enjoy your ride with Mr. Herrin.
Buel got home Saturday afternoon and both the boy and I are glad to have him back. We are all well and happy. Little Muir
laughs and tries to talk to me and is very bright and lively. He is growing all the time and is perfectly well. His little
cheeks are getting nice and pink since we brought him out here and he likes to go out on the porch and look at things when
it is warm. He is so good all the time and is such a little blessing. I myself am feeling just as well as I ever did. I enjoy
my little rides on horseback and also when Buel takes me out in the car. The weather here is beautcful. Tonight the stars
are wonderfully bright and the frogs are singing all up and down the dibohes. I have put the baby to sleep and now I will
stop for this time. Give me the address to write to just as soon as you can so I will know where to send my letters and let
you know how we are. Lovengly illegible 04999
