TO PARK COMMISSIONS, MUNICIPALITIES AND CEMETERY ASSOCIATIONS Jan. 13th., 1004. Good friend, An eastern paper tells
me that Prof. Sargent has returned from his trip, To me that reads that you must have gotten home in good time to have a redlevrry
wreath twined for you by your daughters hands, and to carve the bird that a loving wife in enjoyed turning for you in the
hot stove. Take our Welcome Home then, from this happy home and listen to it as you do to the satisfied or oak of the new-awakened
frogs and the first hum and chirp of the humming bird as he whiles around your porch on his-way to hunt the first manzanitta
bloom. Whom God loves, he shows the world. But we all decide on a place we love best for every-day life : home. Yours friend
