letterhead Aug. 25, 1907. My dear Mr. Muir: We found Lake Tahoe so delightful that we stayed a week longer than we planned
and have only just returned here. Your letter of the 17th is received, and Mrs. Gleason and I will be much pleased to run
out to Martinez next Tuesday (27th). We will take the 8.45 train from S.F. which reaches Muir at 10.25. But do not trouble
to meet us; I think we can find the way. I found many very interesting things in the Tahoe region which I want to talk over
with you, and I am very glad to have this opportunity. Sincerely yours, Herbert W. Gleason. 03920
