Daggett, May 22 - 09 Dear Papa- Your nice cheerful letter of the 19th came two days ago, it did me good to hear how fine
my old home place is looking - it must be beautiful now. I am steadily growing stronger am very careful all the time. We
have been having a great deal of wind, but it dont bother me. My new porch is very comfortable the corner where I sleep is
so sheltered I dont get much sand even when the wind is fairly howling. 04505 Im glad aunt Margaret keeps so well, also
that the babies are healthy. I had a good long letter from Wanda last week, she seems happy. I am going to ask for some more
money but its not for myself this time. Mr Van Dyke has just asked me for 372.00, - a bill has come up against the ranch unexpectedly
as they havent the ready money Mr Van Dyke asked me for this - for 60 days. Please send me a check for 372.00 payable to me
I'll sign it over to him. He wants it as soon as possible Ill write every day from now on Lovingly Helen 04505
