Martinez, March 30, 1903. Dear Mr. Lummis:- I shall be very glad to meet Wm. Lloyd Harrison. It is very kind of you to
remember me when good men come West. I've been wanting to get to Los Angeles for a long time, but a thousand things mostly
very small have consumed the whole winter. About the middle of May I leave California for a long excursion to see some of
the trees and mountains of other lands; but for a' that I hope I shall be able to see you before I go. With kindest regards
to Turbese and all best wishes, I am Faithfully yours illegible
