here for a few days not long since she was as well as usual. the children too are growing finely. Celia has a position as
Book-keeper and Stenographer in town, so I have one girl at home and am glad of it. I had a letter from Maggie yesterday she
was not very well. Johnny is going to Crete to attend the College there, he will room at the same house with Jessie, he is
to start after Christmas. Maggie is feeling lonely already, just think there will be only John and herself in the house, it
is a good thing that Mary lives so near to her. 4 and can go in to see her so often, The grape crop has not done very
well there she says, there has been too much rain and many of them have spoiled on the vines. We are about usual here, but
it seems lonely; Mother though so quiet in her ways filled a large place, that no other can fill but she has entered into
rest, it is well with her. I shall be very glad to receive a few lines from you when you feel like writing. I send love to
