Description:
Horse drawn wagons loaded with sweet potatoes are lined up on Main Street in Turlock, California. The men and horses are
waiting their turn to load the sweet potatoes onto railway freight cars that are to the right but not visible. The line of
wagons crosses one set of railroad tracks next to the Railroad Crossing sign. Behind that sign the Osborn building is visible.
Two men appear to be conferring with a third. He is wearing a tie and may be holding and checking a schedule. The railroad
was essential for the farmers to be able to transport their crop to where it could be sold.
