Home Apr. 20,/08 Darling Helen, I was glad to get your cheery all-well letter s? of the 17th 18th. The warm days must
be fine for you but look out for sudde n? night chills. Tom came from Berkeley last eve with report that Wanda's all right
means to visit you in a week or so. I went to S.F. Saturday, paid Colby your Club dues - met McHughes on the boat. He enquired
very kindly for you told me to thank you for a photograph you had sent. I'm doing pretty well camping in the old home tho
lonely working on Stickine - Ever your devoted father John Muir
