The harbor of Granada on Lake Nicaragua, showing the pier jutting out into the waters of this lake which is the largest between our own Great Lakes and Lake Titicaca of Bolivia, S. A. A banana boat from Ometepe island in the lake is bobbing about offshore while small rowboats and sail boats unload her cargo. A larger lake boat is tied up while her cargo is discharged at the pier.
