3 pleasant Suburb. The lawns are spacious and the trees and plants look good after living in a flat on a dusty street. It
takes the girls only five minutes longer on the cars to come out here than to go to the West End where we were before, and
we like it vastly better. We are still on the second floor, away from the damp ground. I hope you have had a good Summer and
are well and comfortable, also that your writing prospers according to your heart. I would like to know what you are writing
now and if you have published anything later than your autobiography I am very proud of the books you have sent me and the
best thing in your last is the photograph of you own dear self. I wonder if I shall ever see you in this life again It begins
to look very doubtful I suppose you heard of the death of our Cousin Mrs Lunam. The girls send their love and so does your
sister Joanna Oct 7th 1913
