We all send you many thanks for your bravo Hetch Hetchy work in all our fights on park matters you have boon and are our sain
stay and leader. Those letters in the Times and Evening Post are capital. Do not allow yourself to be handicapped by lack
of a stenographer. We will gladly furnish all the money you want. Send the bills to me. Smoot, Senator, is a stanch friend
on our side of the fight, so is Representative Denver S. Church. Be of good cheer. Nothing that we can do on the side of justice
can be wholly lost. I'll write you again soon. Be careful of your health these hot days and don't fret all will turn out for
the best in the long run. Ever faithfully yours, John Muir
